Daniel, (George Tobal) a young refugee from Syria forced to wait for 11 years to get asylum in the Netherlands, now just wants to fit in. But everything he’s dreamed of comes apart when his relatives in Syria disappear in the midst of the war.  Together with a former asylum centre worker (Patrick O'Kane)  and Catalan Rosa (Belén Fabra) whose grandfather once fled the Spanish Civil War, he sets out on a journey to rescue his family.
